First State Bank Extends Banking Hours with ITMs

First State Bank is excited to announce it is extending weekday hours thanks to its new Interactive Teller Machines, or ITMs.

Beginning Tuesday, June 25, First State Bank customers in Russellville and Ola will be able to bank from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at drive-thru lanes at the following locations, where ITMs have been installed:

501 W. Main St., Russellville
2002 N. Arkansas Ave., Russellville
325 W. Pennington, Ola

To provide its customers with the latest technology in drive-thru banking with the same friendly service the bank is known for, earlier this year First State began the process of replacing its ATMs with ITMs at all its locations.

ITMs allow for face-to-face banking with tellers at drive-thru lanes. Customers who use the ITM have access to a teller with the push of a button. The teller, who is located at the ITM Center, aka “The Hub,” at the bank’s downtown branch in Russellville, will appear on a screen and assist customers throughout the entire banking transaction.

Charles Blanchard, First State Bank CEO and Chairman, said the decision to add ITMs was made with customers’ best interests and convenience in mind.

“Extended hours will give customers more flexibility with their busy schedules,” he said. “Like other First State bankers, our ITM tellers are members of the River Valley community whom customers trust with their business, and they will continue to provide the friendly service our customers are used to and expect.”

ITMs give FSB customers the convenience of doing traditional drive-thru banking services from 7am-7pm. The ITM tellers help customers make deposits, loan payments and cash checks all from the convenience of their car. These ITMs also serve as ATM machines 24-hours a day.

To improve the drive-thru experience, FSB is widening the lanes for easier access.

In the coming months, ITMs will be installed at 3005 W. Main St. and 3103 E. Main St. in Russellville. All ITMs will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, as well as 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
